Ways of Factoring Quadratic Equations

Quadratic Equation is a second order polynomial because the highest power is equal to 2. General Quadratic equation has the form shown below:
\[aX^2 + bX + C =0 \]
There are two ways you factor a quadratic equation.

Method 1: You can simply check it with a trick (what two numbers you can multiply to get the $3^{rd}$ term of the polynomial and add to get the $2^{nd}$ term?)

Method 2: By Applying the Quadratic Formula.

\[x = -b \pm \frac{\sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}\]
